Gesse Roy in his newly released album, invites all to come and discover Cameroon as captured in the theme, "Go to Cameroon".

The musical artist whose real name is Simon Gnowa is an engineer of telecommunications. He recently released his fourth album dubbed "Esprit Rebel Spirit" meaning "Spirit Rebel Spirit". The album has 10 titles which more or less narrates the progress of his artistic career right from beginning of his music career in 1996.

He sings in Tupuri, German, English and French. While waiting for videograms to be made, we can already say that the artist awakens the awareness on the 'real' freedom of the African, the place of love between the two genres, the very negative consequences of tribalism, nepotism, corruption and many other injustices in our societies that generate frustration and finally on tourism to promote the beauty of Cameroon.

In this new album, this artist originally from village Goundaye in the Department of Mayo-Kani sells somehow. "Go to Cameroon" is a call to visit Cameroon addressed to all Africa-loving Cameroon people. His first three albums 1996 - "Legalize the Justice", (1996) - "Exorcist" (2001),-"Peace Love and Justice" (2006), were rendered in reggae.

"I am a fan of Bob Marley and admirer of his way of conveying messages. I think that I made my turn my weapon of choice," he says. On the other hand, 'Spirit Rebel Spirit' is a local mix of Caribbean Soca and Makossa rhythms.
