Tancho Zinky is a 21-year old professional runway and photo model based in Buea, Cameroon.

So far, she has participated in the FIAFA Fashion Show and done photoshoots for several designers.

Zinky also featured in the ad of the National Academy Of Tourism and Hotel Management based in Bamenda, Cameroon.

She is a true definition of beauty and brain, as she is a holder of a professional diploma in chemistry and is currently working towards starting her Bachelor's degree.

KB - What got you into modelling?

I got inspired to do modelling after watching various international fashion shows like the Mercedes Benz show. I immediately felt like that is where I belong. I enrolled in the Starfield Modelling Training Institute, Bamenda, where I took my baby steps and eventually learnt how to catwalk and pose for pics.

KB - Who is your inspiration in the fashion industry?

My inspiration in the fashion industry is Valerie Ayena, Miss Cameroon 2013 who is also a top model.

KB - What do you want to see change in the Cameroonian modelling industry?

Models in Cameroon are always exploited. They are rarely paid for their services and even when they get paid it's not up to their worth. So I hope with time things will change.

KB - Which Cameroonian designers do you like and wear?

Lima T Jasino Designs, who is based in Buea. And Mareta WT Clothing, also based in buea.

KB- Could you do a nude photoshoot?

No, I could not.

KB - Which other career path would you love to venture apart from modelling?

I would like to be a beautician. I love playing with hair and faces, too.

KB - Light-skinned or dark-skinned boy?

I don't really mind about the skin colour; either light or dark-skinned is fine by me.

KB - What attracts you to a guy?

What attracts me to a guy is his intellect and how he treats ladies. I also like guys who can put me above their pride. Good looks would be an added bonus.

KB - What is your favourite meal and colour?

My favorite colour is turquoise. Favourite meal, water fufu and eru with some slow boys (congo meat/snails).
