Who says Cameroonian models have no future? If the country is not accessible for many major fashion events like Nigeria, South Africa and Ghana, it is certainly not due to the lack of resources.

After Valerie Ayena at the Mercedes -Benz Fashion Week Africa 2014 last October in South Africa, it was the turn of Kathy Mingele to make a difference in Ghana.

Recently signed under the label of Isis Models Management which is based in Nigeria, Kathy is devoted to what she loves most. Selling the most prestigious African podium that is from the ECOWAS Fashion Week 2014, to the Glitz Africa Fashion Week.

For four days,’ the Cameroonian androgynous model’ as she was described lit up the stage at the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra, Ghana where she modeled for designers like the Ghanaian Light Couture, Thula Sindi’s April Rust, Nigerian Bijelly and Grey, Total Etnik of Cote d'Ivoire as well as Alphadi of Niger.

Kathy boldly went ultra girly but held a ‘boyish style’. With a very short haircut that perfectly suited her personal style , the young woman posed as great value of mannequinât Cameroon at a time when the world of fashion awareness to the issue of gender by putting more and more on front of the stage models to particularly androgynous physical .

The Glitz African Fashion Week which ended two days ago was a real platform where the exhibition of talent and brands in the industry of African fashion.
