Larissa Ngangoum succeeds Valery Ayena as Miss Cameroon 2014

Larissa Ngangoum, former Miss Cameroon USA took home the crown for Miss Cameroon Friday July 25.

Larissa Ngangoum who moved to the United States at the age of 14 after being raised by a single mother, was last night crowned as Miss Cameroon 2014 at the ‘Palais des Congrès de Yaoundé’ Conference Center ahead of Florence Epee Ngasse , Genevieve Abbe and Linda Gueyap Kamdem emerged 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners up respectively.

The final phase of the contest saw the contestants competing in a number of events, including lifestyle and fitness swimsuit, evening wear and talent during the event.

Larissa Ngangoum began modeling at the age of 17, mostly prints modeling, and just recently started on runways. She is former Miss Africa USA pageant and Miss Cameroon USA.

She is a Pharmacy student in Haggerstown, Maryland, USA .Also, she is perfectly trilingual and also fluent in speaking, reading, and writing French, English, and Spanish.
