Real name Wonyu Guy Stéphane, Le Mentor Dj, comes from a cultural mixing: father Bassa (Nyong Ebrahimi, grand Littoral) and mother Ewondo (central region).

Very young, he lets himself very quickly to be taken by virus of hip hop dance in the years 2002, by integrating the X-Treme Fusion group.

The crew won a lot of competitions in the city Yaoundé, and Guy Stéphane is sought in Douala for shows. In 2007, he won the dance contest of the show Challenge Vacances (on Canal 2 International) and he became more and more renowned.

Artists are more pounding on his door, to mount their choreographies. This is will pass for names like Krys Bad, Annie Anzouer, Nar6 Pryze, among others... By training with them, Guy Stéphane takes taste in music.

Heavily influenced by the rhythm of Coupé-décalé, the boy embarks on the adventure, not without its personal touch.

Today creator of a new concept "Assiko Dance Concept" (a restyled assiko), now he carries the name Le Mentor Dj, and is defined as a facilitator-singer (a category that he said he created.

With this new trend, Assiko knows of other influences including rhythms present here and elsewhere, a mix which has success in the nightclubs of the capital.

Mentor Dj entered in the Studio in 2012 to record Yon Mè Ntog (take me in the mood, Bassa language) Act 1.
