Mayohchu Oufit Brings Controversy On Facebook1 Clash between Vivian Fokala and Rachel Manyitabot

If you asked Reneta Ndisang Nwonori, her principal intention of coming up with a fashion show as unforgettable as The Buea Fashion Week Show, she will say she did in good faith; a good fate for promoting the Cameroon culture and not to promote controversy.

Vivian Fokala: a very bright and amazing actress with one of the best articulations in the industry, a fashion designer based in Cameroon with pieces in Ghana, Nigeria and also a TV presenter, is one of the few big names in the Cameroon entertainment industry with a good number of followers and fans on social media.

She stars in the TV Series: Rumble, showing on CRTV. Rumor has it that, she has been suspended from the CFI for insulting Epule Jeffery.

Rachel Manyitabot: quiet and smiles with everybody, is one of the founders of We Trend Ankara 237, a fashion designing company based in Douala with sales in-and–out of Cameroon.

The young CEO, as innovative as she is, decided on branding the Cameroon fashion market with not just her unique pieces but also with the kind of unique models she employs (children and adults).

Luckily enough, the brand has been engaging in so many recent fashion shows and award night including the Buea Fashion Week event and The Urban Jamz Awards.

Mayohchu Atem Ebai: is a 6 year old daughter to the film maker, Atem Ebai (Nightfall) and also a model with We Trend Ankara 237 and an actress, who has starred in many Cameroonian feature and short films.

Vicky and Rachel Recently took upon Facebook with a hot clash of quarrel among themselves concerning the dressing the innocent little child, Mayohchu, who may be somewhere else eating popcorn and watching cartoon network and knowing nothing about her name trending on Facebook, wore during the Buea Fashion Week event, organized by Reneta Ndisang.

The whole controversy is firing high because of the comment Vicky Fokala made on Rachel’s post and pic of Mayohchu months ago and the recent ones, when she uploaded some days after, concerning the young talented kids in the spotlight.

Doing it with a good faith to sell her company daughter and her talent as any manager will do, Vicky rather interpreted the picture as bad and unprofessional for a kid to dress in such manner… but wait! Can be Vicky be right?

The whole talk and beef have gone a long way that, Vicky now tweet and delete under the picture for motives which no one knows and claims is her manager not her in control of her profile.

“This morning I woke up same as other fans I didn’t see my comment and comments of other fans who were in support of her act. So we all asked why she removed the comments and she said her manager removed the comment. So I told her that the profile is her personal Facebook profile and isn’t a fan page where we expect managers to reply or delete comments. We all know she deleted the comments” Rachel said.

If truly Vicky or her manager deleted the comments, the question is, why did they do it? Is there something else coming? M.I Ibaga said in his song: Savage, “ain’t with that tweet and the deleting shit”.

That is what from Rachel’s point of view, she doesn’t like because she would have inbox her rather than going ahead to the comment and later on, delete.

“Some months back, that was after the Buea Fashion Week, I posted a picture of Mayohcu, and Vicky went and put some negative comments on it. What I did was to immediately inbox her as a friend and ask her why she can’t inbox me as a younger sister and correct me if I’m doing something wrong, but she went ahead and told me that if I’m posting anything on Facebook, let me go ahead and expect any kind of comments, good or bad”

This controversy has led to many normal Facebook users like Mayohchu’s father to now become a Facebook night watch 24/24 to be on high alert about the comments on his daughter’s picture.

Somebody attire can never be a reflection of her character, nor predict the future of that person. Models go beyond what Mayohchu has on as a dress i guess!

I see nothing wrong with the dressing same as Atem Ebai, Mayohchu’s father. He says whatever concerns her daughter should not concern anyone else since they (Mr. And Mrs Atem) were concerned and gave their approval.

Don’t you think Vicky was only talking as a mother before the fire caught the cloth on the wall? Mr. Atem Ebai does not buy that!

Next: Atem Ebai’s “ This pikin is my pikin, how ei dress or ei up bringing na my issue”.
