Magasco at the Unity Palace Christmas party
Earlier today, we reported that on Tuesday December 20, 2016 Magasco aka Bamenda Boy performed at Unity Palace's annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony organised by Cameroon's first lady, Chantal Biya.
Some of Magasco's fans reacted to the news by calling the Wule Bang Bang singer a traitor and also called for his music to be boycotted. This reaction from fans is fueled by the current struggle going on between the Cameroon government and Cameroon's English speaking region where Magasco is from.

Magasco reacted to the backlash from his fans by posting the following message on his Facebook page...
“To my falor brethren I heard some tension cause of my appearance at Presidential end of year party.note that in this business we sign some contracts 8months before time. I have been supportive on our peaceful struggle am sorry if I disappoint anyone it's not of my making. Bamenda flows in my blood and am still part of our voice for US TO BE TREATED FAIRLY. Thank u #Peace I keep praying for my country”
