Nominated for Canal 2'Or for Best Female Artiste, Nono Flavie is aware of being in competition with the "best" (Coco Silver, Annie Bella Mani Anzouer, Kareyce Fotso and Marole Tchamba), but remains confident, in view of her work remains an excellent quality. Since its debut, it has always been part of nominated and hopes that this time is the right time.

Q: Nono Flavie good evening and thank you for welcoming us here.

A: Good evening culturebene, it is with great joy that I open the doors of my modest home, especially since it is not cheap to have you (smile).

Q: So how do we apprehend the Canal 2'Or for Nono?

A: Honestly I cannot speak of apprehension; you know, I'm on my third album and each of my albums was nominated. I remember very well the first holding Canal 2’Or in 2004 at the former Cinema Wouri, my ‘Téléphone moi’ was nominated alongside the duet single, ‘Nyosô’ with Douleur, was in the Traditional Music category. It's true that I had not won any of the category I was nominated, but for me to be nominated constitutes some recognition because it proves that every time I put forward something good.

Q: For this 10th edition, you compete with Coco Silver, Annie Bella Mani Anzouer, Kareyce Fotso and Marole Tchamba. Do have the slightest fear or unassurance?

A: Uh, Fear? I would say no, no! If we are all nominated, it means that we felt that we deserved it all. Well, good luck to all and may the best win.

Q: The votes have been going on for a while now, and social networks are included in addition to SMS. Does that make more room to ensure maximum votes for Nono Flavie?

A: Already, the organizing committee has set up a website through which we should vote. There is also an official facebook page ... In short, I can only invite my fans and all those who love Nono Flavie to vote. I'll still be honest; I do not manipulate the people to do it.

Q: On your part, you have already voted for some artistes in their respective categories?

A: Of course; but I will not say who (laughs).

Q: Only a few days to finally live the eminent evening, which again will be held at the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé. Do you have any memories?

A: Ah ... I was two years ago at the last edition and it was beautiful. I however strongly believe that this year, the organizing committee will make it more memorable. You know, in all areas of life we are called to always provide eh ... Well, I have very good memories and I hope that this year I will still reserve more.

Q: Tell us all Nono; would there be an aspect that we should improve the Canal 2’Or?

A: In fact I believe that it is the artistes who should be in the spotlight! We need to be a little more cared for.

Q: Are you referring to treatment?

A: No, not necessarily just in the overall framework. We put forward the artistes, and above all make sure they are comfortable.

Q: According to our sources, everything is going pretty well so far.

A: Of course; lately I watched on Channel 2 innovations for this 10th edition, and it is quite reassuring. We hope it is as it's hyped, and that they keep their word.

Q: If not, how is your latest album ‘Je suis amoureuse’, so far?

A: It’s going pretty well. A single day doesn’t pass by without me receiving phone calls of encouragement or congratulations, via social networks as well. So for those who have not taken the time to consume this album, I urge you to do so because it is very rich. I put in my best as usual. I am gently promoting it here while on the third video recording. There are nine tracks in total. Today I say thank you to seniors like Sergeo Polo who allowed me to meet a lot of people in the middle after assisting me. This album was recorded here and in France.

Q: Nono Flavie, thank you again.

A: Oh thank you again culturebene. You are doing a great job and I'm thrilled to finally meet the physically team because even through your facebook page I am impressed. Thank you for coming, and come back when you want, and keep supporting as you do so, the Cameroonian culture.
