Miss Cameroon USA contestant loses cancer battle

A contestant for the 2015 Miss Cameroon USA Pageant, Miss Marienette Ngambou sadly passed on a few days ago after battling with cancer.

The 22-year-old was the first contestant to register for this year’s pageant according to the news disclosed on the Miss Cameroon USA official page on facebook last Sunday.

The team described her to be one who was willing to create cancer awareness to the youth, the main reason why she joined the competition. Unfortunately she did not live to fulfill this cause.

It was stated in the post that the Miss Africa and Miss Cameroon USA will be involved in the planning of her funeral of which “she will be sent off like the Queen she really is”.

This is indeed a heart breaking news for her family, pageantry and the whole of Cameroon. May her soul rest in peace.
