After their concert at the Yaounde Omnisports Stadium last Saturday, P-Square band were arrested in Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport yesterday morning and released hours later learned koaci.com.

They were arrested as they boarded for Nigeria by the Cameroonian police, following a complaint by a cultural promoter that they owe him.

Reached by telephone, Mathieu Youbi, communicator and organizer of cultural events close to the complainant, confirmed the arrest, "Yes, they were arrested this morning and released a few hours later."

They were in a search order, following a complaint from one Nana who claims, P-Square owe him nearly 30 million FCFA.

He explained that this debt resulted from some transactions earlier in the year, precisely, January, between him and the stars toward a concert to be held in Cameroon, for which the Nigerian band did not showed up.

An arrangement was however made for the release of the stars few hours later.

As a reminder, another complaint filed by Chinois Yangeu, another Cameroonian cultural promoter, is pending in Douala, Cameroon before a court.
