Pink isn’t just a colour, it’s an attitude

Pink Attitude

How is your year going so far? Fashion wise I think it's going to be a very exciting year. Neon yellow, crimson, and electric blue, as well as romantic and soft pinks, pale browns and of course whites are all trending.

The 1960’s and 1970’s are back. Airy, breezy, bohemian pieces seem like they’ll be the biggest hits of 2015. Loose, colorful, hippie-like clothes, gladiator sandals and crazy platform shoes are returning. Valentino and Armani have already come up with pale pink, long, tutu-like tulle skirts.

Dresses in an array of shapes and silhouettes are breaking new ground with me this season. From the structured to the not so structured and even the middle of the ‘road’ers’. With its girly round neck, high low hem and overlapping pleats, this playful one is no exception.

The lovely pink would definitely brighten any gloomy winter day, those sweet rosy hues after all should no longer be limited to the mild weather days so spread the pink.

A fur coat and bag in nude kept me looking stylish, complimented the pink, and got me from zero to 100 pretty quick.

I did go for the glow in neon heels that made a great accent for my pale pink outfit. These shoes are electrifying, anything but lukewarm, love them!

Beat Deets: I’m wearing Nylon as my brow highlight, Passionate and Vibrant Grape on my outer corners and crease line, blended up for a smooth transition. I cut my crease with Carbon. For days when matte gets too monotonous, I add a little shimmer or glitter in the mix, the perfect way to bring dimension to the face like I always say.

I chose to go with pink glitter on my lid this time. Don’t ask me the name cos I’ve had it forever and the product name is all wiped off, lol. I lined my waterline with Fresh Water. Finished the look with NC 35 concealer under my eyes and my blush of choice was Breezy.

I also used Dipdown not just as a liner but to fill my brows, it works perfectly. My brows are defined without looking ridiculously overwhelming and over done.

You should try it. On my lips I have OCC lip pencil in Hoochie paired with OCC lip tar in Pretty Boy.
