The film directed by Cameroonian film producer, Kang Quintus, is an emotional movie about a man diagnosed of cancer.

Diagnosed with cancer in the most powerful nation (USA), Kum, the lead actor in the movie, "Rejected" faces all odds as he is also denied asylum in the USA. The movie, produced by Quinsia Films and Directed by Kang Quintus, is emotional, sad but entertaining, telling the sad story of Kum who lives in the USA with no medical insurance and social security.

He is rejected by the system and abandoned by everyone to die. His struggle for survival takes him into a soul-searching process which stirs up extraordinary capabilities he never imagined. Will Kum defy the system or will the system break him? In the film, Kang Quintus tries to answer this question as he presents the situation of many people in the society.

The producer, through the movie, has not only related with people but has also painted the picture of the complexity of health insurance in the USA as well as the challenges immigrants face when it comes to medical insurance. The film "Rejected" according to Kang Quintus is like the "voice of the voiceless".

The 90-minute movie was shot in Maryland, USA featuring, amongst others, Kang Quintus (Cameroonian) as lead actor, Sahndra Fon Dufe (Cameroonian) as Kum's cousin, Donald Imm (American) as mail man, Fatima M Cisse (Sierra Leonian) and John Dumelo (Ghanaian).

During the movie premiere last October 2015 at the AMC Magic Johnson Theatres Largo, Maryland-USA, Kang Quintus said the main message he is trying to pass across in the movie is that whatever situation one finds himself and no matter the challenges faced in life, people should never give up on their dreams.

Through the film "Rejected" the producer says "Hold on to your faith and fight on because God will one day open doors for you".
