The name ‘Mareta’ is derived from a combination of her name and her mother’s (Maureen + Reneta = Mareta).
Mareta West is known for her classic, creative, unique, sexy, and eco-friendly designs.
She uses a lot of African prints to produce beautiful designs inspired by nature, life and anything around her. Mareta is the number one model for all her designs and there is one piece she wears with every design; it is that elegant smile.
Mareta has been to some fashion competitions like E fashion awards 2014 and recently Style black Sew black organized by Guinness Cameroon where she emerged top 3 for the competition.
Mareta has also featured in many events lately including the Buea Fashion week, Rose on the grave movie premiere and she ended the year 2015 in grand style by winning the CAMEE Award for best designer for 2015.
Mareta has dressed many Cameroonian celebrities like Daphne, Malvis Ann, Clarisse Ndinge, Laurantine Endah, Ade Kelly etc.
Recently, Mareta decided to venture into male designs so the guys can also enjoy a piece of her creativity.
