The stunning star of Zouk, Teeyah is finally in Cameroon for a two-day show at the Sanza Night Club.

She was on the weekend edition of the TV program, ‘Tam Tam’ on CRTV on November, 16. We spoke to her, and talked about the crazy rumor concerning the paternity of her unborn child with Samuel Eto’o.

Read excerpts below:

We were ready for a show, but in the end, it was decided that you postponed it to Sunday, November 16th?

Yes, in fact I came for a show, and then I was asked to stay a few more days to perform a second time. So I did not hesitate because my concern is to please the public. Since they enjoyed the first performance last Thursday, I had to accept the offer for another fun because the audience is everything to me. I am happy when they are happy.

You got back to the show on Thursday November 13, how did you feel the response? Was it what you expected, in other words, was it a success?

Oh yeah, I had a great time. I always take pleasure with the audience wanting more; otherwise I would have changed jobs a long time ago. Truly unforgettable; it was great.

How do you feel coming back to Cameroon?

Oh! It is always a pleasure to come back here, the fans, the public, are all adorable.

You are a veteran of Cameroon Teeyah.

Cameroon is especially used to me; I would say (laughs). Seriously, yes, here I feel at home. I began to have real benchmarks here and I find it amazing that the public has adopted me.

You are splendid Teeyah.

Hum! Thank you very much.

We also noticed that you are expecting a blissful event. When is that?

Uh ...time will tell. That's when it will happen anyway (laughs).

Obviously you have heard crazy rumors about the Footballer Samuel Eto’o being the father of your unborn child. How has Teeyah taken it?

Well, you know, it's something that has been there and unfortunately persisted for 7 or 8 years. Listen, you just move on and pretend nothing had happened. Eto'o has his life, I have mine, and I think we should respect that; this is the least of things.

You and your team do not consider defamation?

Ugh! You know, the more we give importance to rumors, the better they do and persist. So we care less, since there is nothing.
