Sanzy Viany to launch second album

In prelude to this event, the artist organized a press conference last Tuesday in Yaounde.

"Ossu", in local dialect, "Eton" means "in front of" or "ahead" and this is the title of the second album of the Cameroonian singer Sanzy Viany, an opus of 13 titles, of which one is in acapella, ten in orchestra and two instrumentals.

It is this musical wafer which music lovers will discover, during a concert which the young artist organizes at the French Institute of Cameroon, Yaounde.

During a press conference held last Tuesday at the municipal Circle of Yaounde, Sanzy Viany reassured her fans: "I return with a second album, a new spectacle ".

In the heart of the new album, is the topic: love, epicting the pain of separation, loneliness, distorted promises of marriage and the size of the rural woman. The artist presents her work as being the expression of a lived experience.

Several rhythms give rise to this new album. It is about the bikutsi-jazz, slow fox trot, afro soul and RnB, salsa, bikutsi-ewanga. This new album, after Akouma in 2009, profits from some installations.

After Yaounde, another concert is anticipated on October 17 in Douala before moving to Limbe at the end of the year. "Ossu" is also a homage paid to Anne-Marie Nzié.
