The Cameroonian artist is finding it hard to accept the death of talented pianist Denis Moussinga and the sudden power cut which cost the singer Papy Anza, his refrigerator and computer in which all of his works were stored.
She denounced any elite who does not support the youth of his country. On her facebook page the Cameroonian singer based in the United States of America wrote on February 11, 2015 on her wall, "on this day of the celebration of the Youth Day in my country, I cry out with pain and rage. I would like to begin by saying that I am not an "opinion leader", but my opinion leader! or lesson giver..."
This reaction is caused by two very recent events, the death of the pianist Denis Moussinga on 10th February 2015, and fire resulting from a sudden power failure which destroyed the refrigerator and the precious computer of a young and promising musician Papy Anza.
"Our youth die too early. We just lost our dear beloved brother, a talented pianist Denis Moussinga. Our youth are dying in pain from simple ailments that could be prevented, treated and cured.
They are dying because if large sums of money are not paid, no treatment is available in our hospitals!", said the artist. She continued, "the creativity of our youth dies when the electricity in a country as rich as ours is switched off unexpectedly. My little brother Papy Anza has lost all of his musical data, his refrigerator charred and his computer burnt. All he has was lost!".
The fault according to her is on the Cameroonian leaders. "Men in power! Money and power are they not your real motivations? Do you even have respect for the process by which money is won? "The end justifies the means, isn't it?"
Kaissa Doumbé Mendoza asked them to put their "power" at the service "of others and for the good of his community, of youth, of humanity. She invited them to support youth, 'our future', 'our ambassadors'.
