“It is a project that comes out of my guts, a project that emanates a strong determination following the various disappointments that I had some time, but I'd rather not dwell on it, otherwise I just wanted that it serve as a lesson to future generations”, Dede Bass Vuvuzela said this about his recently launched album "Retour à l’authenticité".

"In short it is an album filled with the rhythms of my home, the Ntapke and the Mbala.

"I made a small nod to our brothers of the English-speaking part of the country in the title Today Na Me.

"There is also another one titled Merci Maman that is very evocative and moving, because when I saw mum leave, I said there was no way I could sufficiently tell her I love you.

"I still have a sharp pain when I think about it, it is true he had whispered those words to the ear, but it was too late because it meant nothing, her last breath left gradually", he narrated.
