"This Is Africa TIA" movie cover
Cameroonian music /movie star, Nabil Fongod aka Nabil4real has released the official cover of his much-anticipated short film, "This Is Africa TIA".
The movie premieres during the 3rd edition of the ArtCity Short Film Festival 2016 in Buea.
It's a festival which focuses on training talents via workshops whole showcasing Cameroon film in an editorial atmosphere.
Nabil, who's been on a one-week media tour in Limbe, Buea and Douala is ready to change the movie scene in Cameroon with this one big giant project.
"#TIA is all about giving the right perception of Africa based on our lifestyle, culture and our talents,” Nabil says.
"Africa has been seen for so long as a territory of misery, suffering, poverty, etc, but this film will show you how my Africa really is to me and how the negative reports about Africa is not always about poverty but about the true nature of the African lifestyle".
The cover for the film further depicts Africa as a strong, united and intelligent continent even though it's quite complex like any other continent in the world.
The cover sees Africa as a maze, with six different stories coming into one and there's no way out!
"It's six different characters with six different stories and one continent. But they all relate to each other, making their stories relatable to you and me, “Nabil adds.
