Two Cameroonians nominated for Africa Gospel Music Awards

Two Cameroonian gospel music artists have been nominated for the 5th edition of the annual global Africa Gospel Music Awards, AGMA 2014.

Suzie Ukum and Beza Berist Teke were nominated for the Central African Artiste of the Year alongside eight other gospel artists in the Central African region.


Suzie Ukum is an inspirational music artist, contemporary Afrosoul & Gospel singer. She is a Writer, Composer, Fashion Designer & CEO of Reall Deal Pixs. She is also well known for her favourite quote “Music is food to the soul & it can really change your mood, it heals, it comforts"


Her first single officially hits the gospel music market on November 5, 2012. Many were not surprised by this, as Suzie Ukum, in her childhood and school days showed enormous signs of becoming a celebrated singer. “At five, I would compose songs which my teachers used for music lessons to the benefit of the entire class,” the 29-year-old gospel singer said.


Beza Berist Teke – a household name in Cameroon is also known for so many tracks notably, Worthy Is The Lamb, None like God, I Will Testify among others with all inspirational building humans faith in God in times of trails.

These two Cameroonian gospel artists are exceptional in their delivery to the extent that they booste your faith and instill your hope in God in times of trails, tribulations, pain among other.


Founded in 2009, the Africa Gospel Music Association and AGMA serves as the face and voice for the African gospel/Christian music community worldwide and is dedicated to exposing, promoting and celebrating gospel music through differen Africa- music genres.


The AGMA community consists of over 8,000 members and affiliates which include agents, artists, church leaders, artiste managers, promoters, radio personnel, record company executives, retailers, songwriters, and other industry visionaries.
