The singer and beauty entrepreneur Reprudencia ‘Dencia’ Sonkey has never failed to amaze her followers with her strategic business sense.
She was disparaged after she released her line of fast-acting skin lightening cosmetics, Whitenicious, and was accused of encouraging self-hate among black people by promoting the use of bleaching creams.
But the criticisms never stopped her, instead, she announced the launch of another cream, ‘Darklicious’, saying it would be released in May this year.
However, Darklicious seems to be on the back burner for now as, last night, she announced her new anti-aging creams that are produced under her Envydia Cosmetics label, and she declared that with this venture, “a new legend is born.”
The serums are in addition to her lightening lip gloss products which are also under the Envydia label.
Meanwhile, Dencia, in an interview on Chanel4 News (UK), defended her Whitencious product saying it removes dark spot and added 'White means pure'.
