True love is like a ghost, which everyone talks about but few have seen. This applies to award-winning Cameroonian artiste Missy BK and her husband.

It was their ninth wedding anniversary yesterday and the beautiful singer posted an open and romantic letter to her husband on all her social media pages.

The message was titled "HAPPY 9TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TO YOU HILL SENIOR." According to Missy BK, they both made the decision to tie the knot only a few weeks even though their friends and family thought it was hasty.

She went on to add that "we are not an example of a perfect couple but just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other."

"We are a true example of a marriage box," she said.

My open letter to you.

When u realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, all you want at that moment is for your life to start as soon as possible and this is exactly what you and i did 9 years back.when you met me for the first time you immediately told me ( " YOU ARE MY WIFE ") funny it seemed. We dated for 6 weeks and made the bold decision to get married. Our friends thought we had lost our minds my mom even put me on time out to reflect and think and see if it was the right decision to take at age 20 to get married. Oh yes i did, we did and look at where we now now.. blessed with two beautiful daughters .we are not an example of a perfect couple but just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other. i use to think and believe in a myth that marriage is a beautiful box full of all the things we long for: companionship, intimacy, friendship, etc.but it isn't the case, marriage isn't just a bed of roses. I've learnt the truth that marriage at the start is an empty box .you must put something in before you can take anything out.there is no love in marriage. Love is in people and people put love in marriage. There is no romance in marriage. You have to infuse it into your marriage. I have learnt that a couple must learn the art and form .the habit of giving, loving, serving, praising, keeping the box full.if you take out more than you put in, the box will be empty. But we are learning along the way to filling up each others cups, keeping our marriage box full.in you i have found a friend, a great dad and an incredible husband. Even though i might not say this often i want you to know I love you with every heartbeat.
