Many have discovered through the duet with his friend Dany M in the single, ‘Mbungalo fever’ where Yoriday, a very promising young artiste, caught the eye of a label based in Switzerland, Stido Empire.
It took just a few seconds of the record label listening to him to fall within the vocal charm and unique style of the young Yoriday. The first project with the label is a single entitled ‘Abaga’.
The promoter of Stido Empire, KG Inverse who confirmed the addition of the artiste to his team had this to say in an interview with him, “I listen a lot and I try to find out about what is happening in Africa and particularly Cameroon in terms of productions. But it just took two seconds to realize that this small line was the deal”.
Based in Switzerland, Stido Empire has become established in the country, with the intention of boosting local talent, and to provide greater visibility internationally.
A noble ambition that is already reflected in the dynamism observed in recent days since the release of the first single, ‘Abaga’ by Yorinday from the label.
Again, Saturated social networks, display in strategic areas of the capital city and hype in the media, are also part of the goals.
However a press conference for the official release of the single will be held soon in Yaoundé.
