Yanick Sabze is a 34-year-old Cameroonian who has invented a video game christened “Akan”.

Yanick who got inspiration from his childhood experiences as a game lover created the game which delves into the Cameroonian world of arts and culture.

The game “Akan” tells of a fictitious story of a Bamileke chief held bound under a spell but was fortunately rescued by his son after having undergone some physical training.

The video game which is one among the many products of the Cameroon Game inventors' industry commonly called “Gameroon,” launched at the Citabella Hall at the Ministry of Communication.

Yanick Sabze is from Dschang in the West Region. He is a holder of Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor Degree in Communication and Information Technology.

He is presently directing a project under the African Union in Ethiopia.

The Akan video game, like Zumba, is gradually attracting the interest of kids as another form of entertainment especially at this time of holiday.

Copies of the video-game are available in both hard and soft forms at the Dove Supper-Market in Bastos, Yaounde.
