Christy Sweet, songwriter with the album "Je suis Sangokou" received her first guitar from the hands of the Minister of Arts and Culture (Minac), Ama Tutu Muna, same as her elders in the music field like Dina Bell, Beko Sadey, Esso Essomba, Charly Nelle, etc..

Moved, she reacted by creaking a few notes: "I just got my first guitar and I did not expect it. Today, I have an obligation to put me to work."

In total, 102 artistes benefited from this donation offered by the Ministry of Arts and Culture (Minac), the Cameroon Union of musicians (Sycamu) and the international music federation (FIM).

The goal is to give back to the Cameroonian music its letters of nobility, as she suffers from several ailments recently.

On this occasion, Romeo Dika, Vice President of the FIM, and President of Sycamu, partner of Minac in this action, reaffirmed its support to the Government on behalf of musicians. "We expect from you, songs that will contribute to our collective happiness", he stressed.

For the Minister, Ama Tutu Muna, this is the least talent that is missing. Where the urgency according to her will be to strengthen the capacity of artistes through training and improve the performance of this sector, which has written and continues to write the beautiful pages of history.

That is why recipient artistes are of diverse backgrounds, and not only members of Sycamu.
