Cameroonian artist, Marthe Zambo
With over 40 years of musical career and 17 albums, her hit song “Avec toi ” was interpreted more than a dozen times around the world and today she remains one of the most celebrated African artists; Marthe Zambo, since it is her, has just once more honored her country on the side of Burkina Faso, at the Kunde prestigious award ceremony.
The organizing committee of the Kunde, the biggest music annual event in Burkina Faso, which rewards artists musicians in different categories, has decided to award a special trophy “Le Kunde d’honneur” to the Cameroonian singer Marthe Zambo, for her greatest success and her contribution to the development of African music in general.
Arriving in Ouagadougou on Thursday, April 28, 2016, Marthe ZamboO was greeted with great fanfare. The ceremony was held on Friday, April 29, 2016, in the banquet room of Ouaga 2000 under the sponsorship of Mrs. Bella Sika Kabore, First Lady of Burkina Faso.
The singer will be available from Monday, May 2, 2016 to all requests for interviews and other requests.
