  Professor Abety, like other Cameroonians in academe, has nothing scholarly to show for the so-called two PhDs that he wants the world to believe he holds. It's a shame that Cameroonians of his status have spent time defending a barbaric regime, rather than fighting for the rights of the common man on the street. Isn't that what PhD holders, especially those in developed countries, do for their fellow citizens? Holding the ruling government's feet to the fire?
