  Bien dit. Il y en a certains qui ont du mal a voir plus loin que le bout de leur nez. Ils pleurnichent "ngue, ngue..." quand ils sont PERSONNELLEMENT affectes. Sinon, le pays est "doux". Ok then.....

  Mon cas personnel: je denonce car je sais ce que ce pays pourrait etre et quand je vois ce que pays est, c'est desolant. Mais soyons clairs, quel que soit ce qui arrive au Cameroun, ma vie ne changera pas. Je ne desire RIEN la bas et j'adore ma vie aux Etats Unis. Quand j'ai decide de partir, je savais que c'etait pour de bon.

  I got them from the 1972 movie "Cabaret" with Liza Minelli (the "Mein Herr" number). Had to watch it for a class in high school and fell in love with that movie. Great period piece set in Berlin in the thirties. Such a good picture.
  
  Interestingly enough, there's another number from the German TV series "Babylon Berlin", also set in Berlin in the thirties, which I believe is a direct hommage to the "Mein Herr" number. It's called "Zu Asche, Zu Staub". Great great number. Does a good job of capturing the mood in an environment where the ground is constantly shifting beneath your feet, where tomorrow may never come and you can only live in the here and now.....Phew, enough of that. Back to life. LOL.
