The ceremony was held under the control of the Minister of Health Andre Mama Fouda, Friday, September 12, 2014 in Yaounde. In reality, it was to host the 16th medical Chinese mission, the Chinese doctors exercising in Yaounde.
The 16th chinese medical mission arrived in Cameroon a few years ago with 47 members. They have all received certificates of labor from the Minister Andre Mama Fouda. During their stay in earth Cameroon, the health technicians supported nearly 60,000 patients.
We note approximately 5030 surgical operations performed. Since 1974, 500 Chinese medical personnel have been of good and loyal service to the Cameroonian populations. The cooperation between Cameroon and China is very successful, emphasized Andre Mama Fouda.
The medical component is the most beautiful jewel. Outside the sending of medical missions in Cameroon, the country of Mao Tse Tung participated actively in the construction of the hospital infrastructure here at home.
The Chinese government is largely occupied with the training of Cameroonians in the field of medicine. The medical care by the Chinese are very appreciated by the general public.
The cooperation between China and Cameroon is over 40 years old. The 17th Chinese medical mission arriving the territory has about 14 members.
