The advanced equipment for research and application of endoscopic surgery and human reproduction was launched last Friday at the Hospital of research and application in endoscopic surgery and human reproduction (Chracerh) Yaounde.
Jean Marie Kasia, Managing Director of the Hospital presented on Friday to the members of the Management Committee of the said institution, the equipment acquired to offer quality care to women and assist couples in case of difficulty in child bearing.
The guided tour of evaluation of completed works and installation of equipment at the centre was one of the important items on the agenda of the 5th session of the Committee of management which was held within the confines of the institution.
No declaration was made at the end of the work, but one could tell from their faces that they were satisfaction during the tour by the owner.
According to Pr Jean Marie Kasia and guests, all medical facilities have been installed. They are up to date equipment for care in the fields of Gynecology and obstetrics. In addition to the classic delivery service, the Neonatology of Gynecologic Surgery, the institution will offer a support for infertile couples as well as a service of assisted human reproduction and in vitro fertilization.
Pending the official opening and hospitalization, patients have been received in the centre since April 2013 for consultations, on the instruction of the Management Committee. These sessions are free for now pending the fixing of costs.
The phase of free consultation is meant to promote the Center to the public. The centre is responsible not only for somatic care. The psychological cure has been integrated there too. The existence of a mosque and a parish in his estate will allow recollection of patients. Similarly a fitness center shaped with sauna and a therapy is made available.
