A Quebec study has shown that having sexual intercourse with more than twenty women reduces the chances of developing prostate cancer. Thus engaging 20 women as sexual partners could be beneficial healthwise to a man, according to a study from Quebec.

Researchers from the Université de Montréal and the INRS (Institut Armand Frappier) have shown that this practice would reduce the risk by 28% compared to men who have had one partner.

According to researcher Marie - Élise Parent: "it is possible that having several partners inadvertently will lead to higher ejaculatory frequency, which has a protective effect against prostate cancer as it has already been revealed in several studies."

A large number of ejaculations can indeed reduce the concentration of carcinogens in the prostatic fluid, a component in the semen.

This study however does not apply to gay men. Worse, having more than 20 gay partners would double the risk of prostate cancer. Canadian scientists admit that these could be 'high speculation. Again, it could be due to the fact that "anal penetration produces physical trauma".
