Bertin Kisob determined to hunt Biya out of power

The leader of the Cameroon party for social justice (Cpsj) has reportedly scheduled a series of "peaceful demonstrations" around the country on 26th November.

The party of this political opponent which was opened on the eve of the 2011 presidential election announced in an undated release a series of "open or secret” demonstration. The goal for Cameroon party for social justice (Cpsj) is to cause "a democratic change of regime" in Cameroon. The official slogan of these events is: "Biya please, resign to incompetence and old age. Enough is enough”.

Bertin Kisob intends to carry in Douala "a solitary, peaceful and open event. He plans to organize this event on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. He has chosen to start the walk from the Boulevard de la Liberté of the Governor of the Littoral, the administrative headquarters in Bonanjo.

The president of the Cpsj promised a "10 days" demonstration in one of the major cities of the country. According to him, this "constitutes the second phase of three that will lead to the seizure of supreme power in Cameroon".

The "reverend" Bertin Kisob announced another of such slated for February 11, 2015 at the "Central Post Office" in Yaoundé. He stated that it "will culminate with a peaceful March to the unity Palace". But the political leader feared reprisals.

This is why the Secretary General of his party, Pierre Belinga, threatened: "If the Reverend Bertin Kisob is still shut down as it has been in Bamenda on 6th November 2014, he will immediately begin an indefinite hunger strike until the departure of Biya.

Because it is better to die than to go on living after 32 years under the regime of this old incompetent dictator who does not even respect the freedom of expression of the people and political leaders".

Bertin Kisob had tried unsuccessfully to stand for the presidential election in 2011. He had under the banner of the Cameroonian people liberation army claimed responsibility for an attack on the bridge over the Wouri September 29, 2011.
