The party's President, Benz Enow Bate, says a permanent team is working on the field.

The Cameroon Democratic Party, CDP of Benz Enow Bate is putting in place strategies to woo voters to elect its legislative list in Manyu constituency and municipal list for the Mamfe Council in the September 30, 2013 twin municipal and legislative elections.

Benz Enow Bate told Cameroon Tribune on August 13, 2013 in Yaounde that the party has teams working on the field to turn the political tides to its favour during the twin elections. For the Manyu constituency, the CDP list will be competing for three National Assembly seats with the ruling Cameroon People's Democratic Movement, CPDM and the People's Action Party, PAP of Ayah Paul Abine.

For the Mamfe council, the CDP list will be competing with those of the CPDM and National Alliance for Democracy and Progress, NADP. "As the days draw nearer, we are now trying to conclude so that we get ready for campaigns."

Benz Enow Bate claims to have a rich political experience having been a member of the CPDM, NADP before creating the Cameroon Democratic Party on May 6, 2008. He submitted candidacy file to Elections Cameroon, ELECAM to run for the October 9, 2011 presidential election but the file was rejected, he said.
