Experts from 15 African countries are taking part in the Pan African Zone Conference on Social Insurance in Yaounde.
The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang chaired the opening ceremony of the conference this July 27, 2017.
During the three-day conclave, the experts will be discussing ways of reforming pension schemes as proposed by the Prime Minister as he opened the session.
The Permanent Secretary of the organisation, Noel alain mekulu mvondo, said the experts present will seek ways of changing the conception of retirement as a dreaded period.
He explained that the exchanges will also include ways of providing retirees with psychological an dphysical forms of support.
