The Social Democratic Front, SDF has announced a reconciliation move as the party prepares for its Silver Jubilee on May 26.
Our sources revealed that the SDF through its Peace and Reconciliation Committee is now struggling to win back the hearts of people like Prof. Tazoacha Asonganyi and many other highly placed SDF officials who left the party including those who were dismissed.
Hon. Joseph Mbah Ndam made the SDF decision public immediately after an intensive and productive coordination meeting in Yaoundé which was summoned to plan the program for the Silver Jubilee.
Joseph Mbah Ndam, the man widely believed to have benefitted from the SDF by playing to the Fru Ndi rules stated after the Yaoundé meeting, "It is 25 years since the SDF party was founded in Bamenda on May 26, 1990. Even though we have not been able to bring change and full democracy to Cameroon, we still have a lot to celebrate".
Mbah Ndam boasted that "If you can train cameras on me freely and publish and broadcast what you want, it is press freedom, thanks to the SDF".
Cameroon Concord has been informed that Chairman Fru Ndi will attend the May 20 celebrations in Yaoundé and also the 25th anniversary in Bamenda on May 26.
