Maurice Kamto, national president of the Movement for the Renaissance of Cameroon (MRC) is said to face his special advisor Fabien Assigana in the race for the presidency in his party.
According to reports, his special adviser is resolute to run for the presidency in the next presidential election scheduled to take place in 2018.
Fabien Assigana announced the publication of the book entitled 'me President' what I will do in Cameroon: a modern country to Republican values.”
Within the MRC, Fabien Assigana has been an "opponent within”. He is one of those who challenge some aspects of the operation of the MRC party.
In 2013, for example, he was one of the people who established their dissatisfaction and rebellion in the party. He wrote petitions to condemn the rule of the National Treasurer of the MRC, Alain Fogué.
Assigana also called for the meeting for an extraordinary convention.
