Tuesday, November 11, 2014, the political spectrum of our country was enriched with a new party called Alliance Républicaine Camerounaise (ARC) with Arthur Orphey Nkili, 35 years Cameroonian journalist as its leader.
The party was launched during a ceremony at the Hilton Hotel in Yaoundé. This event also helped the politician to unwind his programmatic offer with the motto: "Build Cameroon to the dimension of our dreams and hopes”.
In his particularly rich opening speech, Arthur Orphey Nkili invited the youth in Cameroon to take the torch. Before that, the president of the party stated a set of ideals that will serve as his political base: "freedom of conscience, the dignity of the person, the division of culture and education, the development of free enterprise, the rule of law, social justice, social dialogue; rights, duties and fundamental solidarity, equal opportunities, security of persons and property, the protection of nature and the environment, individual and collective responsibility, the development of the family, the authority of the State and the administrative freedom of local authorities”.
Speaking of his vision for Cameroon, the politician argued that: 'Building Cameroon to the dimension of our dreams and our hopes', is to give every Cameroonian dignity for his own self-determination. To do this, he said, it is necessary to set new societal standards, new economic directions, new modes of political governance, new decision-making influences, new investment processes.
Arthur Orphey Nkili concluded by presenting the five priorities of his political project: straighten Cameroon by restoring justice and the human rights throughout the national territory, giving hope to the youth, rethinking the Republic of Cameroon on the basis of major reforms, restoring the authority of the State to promote the voice of Cameroon in the concert of nations.
Before closing his launch speech, the young political leader invited the current head of State, SE Mr. Paul Biya to demonstrate wisdom and lucidity in 2018 because the next political elections will be decisive and will mark significantly the future and destiny of Cameroon.
