The ever growing militants of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement, CPDM in the entire Ngoketunjia Division of the North West Region have pledged their unflinching support to the President of the Republic, Paul Biya who doubles as their National President in his fight against insecurity in the country.

The resolution was unanimously arrived at last November 6 as they separately gathered in the various sub sections of the party to celebrate what they termed “President Biya’s tactful handling of peace 32 years on.”

Inaugurating the celebration of President Paul Biya’s 32 years at the helm of supreme magistracy in Cameroon at the Ndop CPDM Party secretariat before proceeding to chair a grand meeting at his native Babalang village, Minister Director of Cabinet of the Prime Minister, Ghogomu Paul Mingo said “the event this year in particular, the main theme is that we have to all support the President of the Republic, H.E Paul Biya for all what he has been doing especially to maintain the burning flames of peace and stability in Cameroon for 32 years on now.

This is a big achievement which we are all gathered here today to celebrate being aware of what is happening around us. We heard what is happening in Nigeria, Chad, Central African Republic and we have remained as the only island of peace in the whole of the Central African and West African sub regions. So, it is indeed worth celebrating. The message we are leaving to militants today is that we should continue to support the one who has won that peace, got stability and has stood behind his people in times of difficulties.”

He then carried the same message and convivial mode to his people of Babalang who all joined their voices to those of the entire Division in promising permanent support President Paul Biya.

Also present in the division for the first time since he became Questor at the National Assembly was the Member of Parliament for Ngoketunjia North, Hon Njingum Musa. In all the places he visited, the MP called on the population to be steadfast in their support to President Biya describing him as a blessing to Cameroon.

In Babessi, Central Committee Delegation leader, DG of MIPROMALO, Uphie Chinje Melo told reporters that “We came here to celebrate President Biya and the party. The massive turnout here today reflects the efforts we have put in and what the Babessi council is today.

My message was that we continue rallying behind our Head of State who uses tact and wisdom to tackle insecurity challenges. Thanks to President Biya there is peace in Cameroon despite Boko Haram threat. When hostages are picked up in Cameroon, they are released safe thanks to the peaceful negotiation of our President. His 32 years are full of wisdom and that is a good reason for all Cameroonians to celebrate.

In a chat with the press, the Mayor of Babessi council, Cho Isah Buba who doubles as Vice President of Ngoketunjia III Section stressed that “This is not just for the CPDM but for all Cameroonians. I am surprised to see that other parties here except the UPC did not join us in this celebration that goes beyond party lines. We are just taking the advantage as the CPDM because he is also our chairman. For the sake of peace and stability in Cameroon we ought to celebrate this major achievement by H.E President Paul Biya. There is nothing more than that.”

Throughout the gatherings, the population ceaselessly expressed gratitude to all their elite, Minister Ghogomu Paul Mingo, Hon Njingum Musa, DG Uphie Chinje Melo, Director General of Treasury, Financial and Monetary Cooperation Moh Sylvester T. for their huge financial support that is contributing a lot in the overthrow of the SDF in Ngoketunjia Division.
