The Minister, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngo Ngo, received in audience Thursday, March 24, 2016 ; at Unity Palace on behalf of the Head of State, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, African Integration and outside Niger, Aïchatou Boulama Kané.
During an audience which lasted about thirty minutes, Aïchatou Boulama Kane, convey an invitation from the President of the Republic of Niger Mahamadou Issoufou addressed to his counterpart Paul Biya, to personally take part in the ceremony of his inauguration as President of the Republic Niger, April 2 Niamey, the capital.
Mahamadou Issoufou won the second term of the presidential Niger, according to preliminary overall results reported by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Tuesday, March 22.
The outgoing president, had a 92.49% of the vote in the second round of presidential elections. Mahamadou Issoufou who emerged victorious in the first round with 48.41%,
