The communication from the press conference given by the UPC focused on the minutes of the parliamentary activities of the November session that ends December 11.
It appears from the report that, in the meeting on the fight against terrorism and insecurity 27 November at the National Assembly, UPC gave its full support to the head of State Paul Biya and the armed forces engaged in the war against Boko Haram.
"When the issues and the challenges of the present call to unity, solidarity and dialogue, to the Fulani and behind our armed forces, political parties that we represent here, must silence their pitfalls of the past, break with the dynamics of exclusion and agree on what is essential to safeguard the integrity of our territory, ensure the security of our people and their property. While it was believed that the UPC-CPDM alliance was totally broken with the death of Frederick Augustin Kodock, one of the resolutions indicated: "the Steering Committee recommended the UPC SG to continue NATO UPC-CPDM initiated by the late SG Augustine Frederick Kodock, while highlighting the need to safeguard its achievements in the field of freedoms, the promotion of the rule of law.", safeguarding cohesion and social peace, the economic development of Cameroon, etc.
Alhadji Baba Garba was brought to the post of president of the bureau of the Steering Committee, and Etienne Momha Houga, national Secretary of the organization.
