The leading opposition politician, Jean Michel Nintcheu, also deputy of the Social Democratic Front in the Wouri East has advised that Cameroonians must mobilize to prevent Biya from being a candidate again.

Two years before the Presidential elections in Cameroon, Jean Michel Nintcheu, does not see what magic the elections will bring to the alternation at the head of Cameroon.

“Even in assuming that if all the 400 political parties meet in a broad front with civil society, associations, etc., Biya will never lose an election for which he is judge and jury," the Parliamentarian posted on his Facebook account.

The Regional Chairman of the Social Democratic Front for the Littoral considered that, the only way to promote change as the head of the country, is to prevent Biya from standing for election in 2018.

“This slogan can unite Cameroonians beyond political parties, including supporters of the CPDM who overwhelmingly want to see a change at the helm of the state," he said, adding that "We must mobilize to prevent Biya from running again. However, it would be unrealistic to expect the elections to send him out. He has blocked everything."

Taking the example of Blaise Compaore in Burkina Faso, Jean Michel Nintcheu thinks “Biya is not unbeatable. We must take inspiration from the example of Burkina Faso. Blaise Compaore military regime seemed ever-present! Yet, it was faced with the determination of the people of Burkina Faso succumbed to."

For him, “the struggle that can release the Cameroonian people from 34 years of obscurantism and regression! It is a matter of courage and determination from 34 years of malediction “Biyaism."
