  The Ejagham clan by it nature has not been noted for all these types of conflicts.Formally our wise elders used their traditional norms which everyone hold to a high esteem to resolved problems amicably.These people have a history that could be traced and issues resolved. If we have conflict today is because we have invited strangers who force to us their borrowed laws and rules that are not helping us but destroying the brotherly love the Ejagham man have. The land consultative board created by the Government to resolve land issues is not perfect than the custodians of their land.The mgbe society could have been the best to handle such conflicts because is an old age group that is made up of notables from neighbouring villages who understand the area very well and all stands for justice of the land.
  If any ugly thing happens between Ndepaya and Akwen their will be blame for not using our Ejagham traditional norms,of settling disputes by resorting to the so called Land Consultative Board that is made up of ignorant individuals who doesn't know how the clan co existence.
